What this policy covers

This policy covers our public website and our communications with you.

It does not cover our cleaning service. If you book a cleaning, what we record in your home and what we do with it is governed by our Service Privacy Policy, which is a separate document.

1. Information you provide to us

Contact and account details: your first and last name, email address, and phone number, which you may provide when you contact us or sign up to hear from us.

Communications: records of our exchanges with you, including when you send us questions, feedback, or otherwise contact us.

Job applications: if you apply to work with us, the information you submit, such as your name, contact details, links, and anything you tell us about your work, is stored for recruiting purposes. AI tools help us triage applications, and a human reviews every decision. We keep applications so we can consider you for future openings. Email us if you would like yours deleted.

2. Information we receive from other sources

Social media platforms: we maintain official pages on platforms such as X. When you interact with our pages on these platforms, the platform provider’s privacy policy governs their collection, use, and processing of your personal information.

Trusted partners: we may receive information from partners, such as security vendors who help protect our services against fraud and abuse, and marketing vendors who provide us with information about potential customers.

3. Information we collect automatically

We do not use analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party cookies on this website. We do not build profiles of visitors or track you across other sites. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, as an ordinary part of serving the site.

4. How we use this information

We use the information described above to operate and improve the website, respond to you, consider your job application, send you communications you have asked for, protect against fraud and abuse, and comply with law.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information with the following categories of third parties:

• Service providers who host our website, deliver our email, and process job applications, under contract and only to perform services for us.
• Security vendors who help protect the site against fraud and abuse.
• Professional advisors and authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights.
• An acquirer or successor, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because we do not track visitors across websites or over time, we do not change our behavior in response to these signals; there is nothing for them to turn off. We also do not allow third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your activity on our site.

7. Reviewing and changing your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing bookings@tau-robotics.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.

If you applied for a job and want your application removed, email the same address.

8. How long we keep things

Job applications: indefinitely, so we can consider you for future openings, unless you ask us to delete yours.

Contact details and communications: for as long as we correspond with you, and until you ask us to delete them.

Server logs: retained by our hosting provider for a limited period as part of ordinary operations.

9. Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We will post changes here and update the date at the top. If we make a material change to how we handle personal information collected through this site, we will say so prominently on this page.
